Pop in a Quarter, Knock Yourself Out

Breathe in, Read, Breathe out.

went to the hospital after booking out on thursday night. my left knee's been acting up again and it hurts bad. took an x-ray and all and well my patella’s honkey dorey so I assume either my tendons, muscles or nerves around the knee cap region's screwed. and so i’ve been given pain killers and some ointment thing. also i am now only required to do light duty till the end of this month; time's suddenly speeding up again.

sure this is somewhat like good news aint it? hell, its great news. but still, i hope that its not bad; as in expressway-to-arthritis bad. it hurts so much so that i cant walk down the stairs or sit without looking or feeling like a 60 year old. its rather depressing actually.

plus, i’m not really thrilled with the fact that I have to climb 10 flights of stairs every single day in camp cos i’m on the fifth fuckin floor, and about the fact that my vocation requires me to clock in a whole lot of walking time.

all in all, my knee’s not gonna have a good week i can tell ya that. on the bright side, at least the medical officers at camp are much better than the ones at tekong who seem to have something permanently lodged up their asses 24 7. so i’m in relatively good hands.

now all I need to do is just suck it up till my next appointment with a specialist on the eighth. ah well, it’s not that far away now is it? then again…

i got my posting today.

i really have no idea what that means really or if i should rejoice or whimper in fear.

oh well, i'll find out on monday.

been having a dry period lately; blogging-wise that is.
not that i dont have the time, oh no. its just that well, i just dont have the mood.

let's see, what have i been up to lately...

watched a series of unfortunate events (which has a really long and unnecessary title i tell you. why couldnt they just call it 'a really bad day'?) and i'm planning to watch spongebob the movie tomorrow with sara and nesh. hope thats funny at least.

went out with kit sometime ago. we walked, shopped, ate and well talked a lot.
much ado about the usual you could say.

badly want to go out with daph and mel. need to see them soon, maybe on sat. must remember to call them.

i also bought cluedo; yup the game where you solve shit and stuff. really fun i tell you. especially when youre really close to deciphering the fucker that killed poor undeserving mr. black and left his sorry ass to rot on the foot of the stairs for all to see.
i even remember a movie based on the game once, long long ago. it had 6 different endings and it was really interesting. if only they still have it around.

will find out my vocation in the army tomorrow. i really hope i get something easy and not get something i hate. it will just be pure torture.

will let you guys know tomorrow.

hey yo hey yo!

its little ol me again. no not recruit little ol me; now i'm a private.
yup yup, you got that right. its private kishan to you, you little piece of shit.

the passing out parade was very fun and bittersweet. my mother, sister and bro arrived late, as expected.
typical indians.
and because of that they missed me doing drills during the pre-parade segment! can you believe that? can you, can you!?
ergh and we were good! we came in second for goodness sakes! people actually clapped.

moving on...

the parade when on fine and dandy and all that. no one from my company fainted despite the horribly long speech the stupid guest of honour had to give while we were standing under the blazing hot sun in the parade square.
talk about tact.

after all the formalities we got to throw our caps up in the air and all that. we took photos and did everything you would expect army men to do the day they graduate from bmt. it was memorable. i cant believe that we'll all be splitting apart come the 21st. its just sad. but its difficult to be sad when youre happy; hence, the bittersweet thing.

i'm dedicating the whole of tomorrow to my future i.e. university shit and all that jazz. i'm definitely gonna apply for some scholarships and hope that i get em. got my eye on one teaching scholarship by the moe. might also be applying for the nus one as well. hope i get at least one back with a positive reply.

i cant wait to start studying again.
but for now i'm just gonna focus on spending my block leave wisely.
11 days and counting...

the a level results came out yesterday.

i got four as and a merit for my s paper in physics plus a three in general paper.
so yea, i did good and i am happy about it.

now all i have to do is skip on over to nus during the open house and find out more about the courses.
its sooooooo far away.
i do hope i get into a desired course and that i get to stay in a hostel!

that would be awesome.
