finace week came and went. everything was honkey dorey. raised $537.65 for charity and i feel good about it. i mean what's not to feel good about.
Preparation for the camp has been hectic. i'm so stressed lately. i still need to revise for the upcoming common tests! ah!!!!!!!!!
so much to do so little time.
on wednesday my class had the dragon boat heats at kallang. it was soooo fun, before it started raining heavily that is. but we still managed to have our race before the damn rain.
the bloody teacher who gave the start command was so 'f'ed up! we were still paddling to the start line when he gave the command to go! ergh! false start i tell ya! but we still managed a second. hopefully it'll get us through to the finals.
had gp exam today. essay was okay i guess (wrote: money can solve all problems. discuss) but the compre was tougher. hope i did okay all in all.
talked to melvyn today. (i'm using the word talk as losely as a fucked labia here. more like we smsed as usual). was fun.

college day came and went with minor gliches. relatively fine, cept all the J2s, who made up 80% of the audience, were bored to freaking tears. i could see all of them yawning and practically begging to be let off from where i was standing. i mean so would you considering you had to sit through 100s of people walking on and off stage receiving prizes while you just sit there and clap.
the fact that jeremy came out of it and said 'i just wasted 3 hours of my life' proves that it was just some stupid event that we were all forced to go. sheesh. we should get cip.
well after that hui ran, cassie, jeremy and myself went to catch shrek. it was a fantastic show! absolutely hilarious! everything fairytale (twisted, of course) was in it; from the mundane to little red riding hood to a 20 foot godzila like gingerbread man which was created to gain forceful entry into the kingdom of far far away. lol.
even bits and snips of lotr was in it. puss it boots was also spectacular.
i give this movie a full 5 outta 5 man! (dunno why 98.7 only gave it 3 outta 5 after giving the show so many comments).
it was fun. the four of us laughed and laughed.

tomorrow's TPJC's college day (a fancy shmancy name for speech day in good ol HSCS) Apparently its the college's most important day and more illustrious event, but the fact that all year 2s are forced to go, makes it 3++ hours wasted.
unfortunately, that above statement doestn apply to me. you see, i'm the emcee together with hui ran and tomorrow, i'll be reading out names to a large audience of which 80% are forced to go.

anyway, watched van helsing the day of songfest with kit daph and mel. the show was just blah. it had too many things (frankenstein, werewolves, demon hunters, dracula) and the plot was silly. like wat jeremy said, everything just happen to take place at the correct time and place. tooooooo coincidental.
going to watch shrek tomorrow. dunno if i should watch troy or not, everyone says its good but i dunno. should i? all the gals keep talking about brad's and bloom's naked body. i daresay they looked good but do you expect me to watch the show just for their bods?
caught nip tuck on monday too. man thats one good show. really displays the horrors of plastic sugery. its like cutting something up and piecing the person back together again bit by bit. gross. the operation scenes were also not dinner-time TV material. but like i said, its a good show. breaks down what perfection means to a person.
watched friends before that too. oh man it was hilarious. cant believe its its last season! i mean i'm sooooo going to miss those people (pheobe especially). the show's fantastic and i hope the rumours i hear about a 11th season are true.

went dragon boating last sunday. my class needed to practice before the heats next wednesday. it was very fun. the salt and the waves and the class spirit added on to the excitement of it all. very good experience. will be going again this coming sunday for another training session. cant wait.
studied over the weekends. did 3 chaps of physics, 2 chaps of bio and 3 chaps of math. not bad in my opinion.
now all that's left is about 90% more of my syallabus. seesh.

someone said something to me today that kinda made me think abt something. and no its not something deep, at least i'm not gonna make it out to be.
we had double chem lecture in the audi today and it was freezing by the time the 2 periods were over. so the moment the lecturer gave the green light to leave, i quickly packed my bag and made a beeline for the exit.
on the way, i passed a friend and i was saying like its damn cold, i'm freezing, cant wait to leave and stuff like that.
what she said in reply totally blew me. (not in a 'hey you bitch' way but a hmmm... sorta way) she said and i quote,
but youre a guy!
at first i was thinking in a biological point of view (i am a nerd after all lol). guys do have a higher matebolic rate and thus produce more heat but then later i realised that she was obviously not comparing the sexes biologically.
she more likely meant 'guy' in a way that implied a man thatb is tough, perservering, more resistant to any conditions that is thrown to him.
basic neanderthal characteristics.
i was like kinda ticked (a kishan ticked is more like a sizzle than actually being angry)i mean, what in hell is the relation? its just so sexist. just becasue i was freezing doesnt mean that i'm any less of a guy or that if a girl is able to withstand lower centigrades she is more superior than the other sex.

oh my, blogger changed its image. must get used to this now.
songfest took place on saturday. it was fantastic! most of them were good. i liked the prayer and addicted and alman's version of purest of pain. it was great and i think he deserved the award for overall best performance.
and to think that last year he didnt even make it.
anyway, i saw denise keller. oh my god she was hot. even as she walked she radiated confidence and sexyness. she was fantastic. some of the contestents even got to hug her! grrr.
ya, lets move on...
did my napfa today. i did okay i guess. the breakdown as follows:
Sit ups - 45 5 points
Standing Broad Jump - 231cm 3 points
Sit and Reach - 45cm 4 points
Shuttle Run - 9.8 seconds 5 points
Pull Ups - 5 2 points
2.4km - 12:04 2 points
Total points: 21 points and i got for myself a silver.
As a result i got 2 months cut from BMT which is good i guess. wait what am i saying, its great but i'm still dissapointed, especially with my 2.4km. believe that i can do it in under 11:40. but hey, a silver aint that bad, considerign we had to finish all 6 items in 2 hours.
it was excrutiatingly tiring and to repeat that would be like going through hell all over again.
however, i must stress that i am immensely proud of my standing broad jump! i improved from 210 to 231 in a week! heh. you can imagin my surprise when i hit the 231 mark, expecting a 22 something.
overall okay lah ah?
now all that's left is the army check up.
