not to sound like a broken record, but the weather is horrible.
its so hot that when sit, i swear that my ass starts sweating. ergh!
anyway, its a usually wednesday.
nothing mention-worthy happened over the week.
just plain tired and wish that this week could end already. the fact that it's taking its own sweet time to end aint helping lil ol' me!
and guess what? sherman went up today to promote his group that's running for council! ergh, i could have shot him right there if i had a silencer or something. his mere presence pisses me off. no wait, its his face.
oh yea, got back my pw results. i got a band 2. kinda dissapointed considering that being vocal is one of my strong points. but hey, i'm down one minute and up the next.
ah the pleasures of being me! lol.
cant wait till may starts!
2nd may i'll be going to Crossing Borders.
5th may is visit to old folks home day.
8th may will be songfest day and the day i'll meet daph and mel.
and of course, revision for common tests which is in july.
i must do well.

i'm melting, literally.
i've never sweat so much while queing up for food. its just ridiculous!
school is just same old same old i guess.
skipped gp though. heh. i mean, considering that my double period mt lessons (aka cultural crap) has been split inot 2 single periods, skipping is unavoidable on tuesdays. lol.
ever wondered why trees are green? i mean why cant chlorophyll be blue instead of green? wouldnt it be cool, having blue trees? the sky and the ground would look almost exactly the same though.

the week went by okay.
on wednesday though, i was told by mrs lee (form teacher) to stay behind after school. apparently syhe wanted to talk to me about my garrulous behaviour. she seemed so strict and all. but i was still laughing and everything. (it reminded me of sec 2, with mr dan yong.)
anyway, the whole thing turned out the total opp of what i expected it to be. she just started talking about my life, the class, the school. it was like a friendly conversation. only thing missing was the coffee, that kinda thing. of course she did include the behave yourself part but it was so mild, i could have passed of for a joke.
next, went to meet daph, patty, gladys and grace for sushi. yum yum yum!
nat broke up with jeremy though. poor chap. but i'm sure he'll get by okay.

today during bio, jeremy and i made up some, for fun, characters for diablo 2. instead of the usual soceress paladin druid necromancer blah blah, we came up with chinese muslim hindu and christian.
and for the christian, jeremy came up with a skill called 'preach' (i think) where the christian would summon avengelists who would go up to the monsters and preach and give sermons until the monsters got irritated to death. (damage and no of avengelists increases with level of course). lol.
it was hilarious!
i laughed till i was tearing.

was a fun day today.
debated (well not actually, more like discussed) the theory of relativity with jeremy. fun fun. also, learned more about computers. (i finally understand the function of RAM).
had no teachers for gp or for biology.
pe was fun, cos all we did was height and weight after running only 3 rounds. thank goodness. currently i'm standing at 1.7m and weigh a healthy 61.5kg (so about 60 kg naked).
still dunno when i shld put my army check up date. i cud put it on the 17th may and cut school or on the 31st during the holidays. most of my class guys have already decided on 17. shld i follow?
but i'll be cutting school! i'd be missing bio lecture, chem lecture, chem tutorial and bio tutorial! oh yes and how can i forget physics where we sit around and do nothing for 1.5 hours. now that's really important.
hell, the 17th it is.

watched the passion of the christ yesterday. poignant.
felt so much for mary though, even though jesus went through so much pain. (and that the story was abt him to begin with).
maybe its because the fact that jesus suffered tremedously the last 12 hours of his life was already know to me. mary's emotional torture however, i never knew and that made me feel for her even more than i did for jesus i guess.
really admire her. so much strength.
oh yes, the rating of m18 was aptly given. (shudders). the blood, gore and violence was... well what can i say? it was really gruesome.
really good show. it gets 4 outta 5 from me.

while i was donating blood (and laughing), mel msg me. apparently he read my blog and told me that i shld join song fest. i said no, obviously. but he kept PESTering me. annoying. eventually i just stopped replying.
i just dont wanna do it. period.
i rather be an audience than a participant.
dont see the need to actually go up stage and sing. why shld i?

anyway, you'll never guess what i did yesterday!
heh, i donated blood!
yup me, the one that's scared of blood and needles and whose parents want me to be a doctor (tis' a strange world).
it was so cool! we had to fill up a weird questionnaire (questions about sex and stuff made up 80% of the whole thing).
then we tested our blood pressure and our blood for sufficient iron. to do that, the get some blood (a drop will do) and then they put it in a blue solution of copper(II) sulphate. if it sinks, youre a okay. but if it floats, REJECT! lol. you need more iron!
then we wait in this endless queue to get to the actual blood giving thingy. the anticipation was killer!
when i finally got there i was terrified! they first gave me a shot with anesthesia and then they inserted this (HUGE) needle of about 1mm in diameter into my (healthy and large) vein. it didnt hurt due to the anesthesia.
when the needle went in, my blood just flowed , no gushed out. lol. it filled up the 500ml bag in like 12 minutes. cool.
then they filled up four test tubes with my blood to test for diseases like HIV syphillis and stuff like that.
after that, they removed the needled and bandaged me up in a cool blue bandage. it was great!
the funny thing was was that i kept on laughing. from the moment i wan anesthesised to the time they bandaged me, i laughed and laughed and laughed. i dont even know why. it was just a tickling experience for me i guess. seesh, i'm weird.
cassie couldnt donate though cos her veins were too thin. she was quite disappointed with that but we're goin again on my birthday! heh
today, i went out ice skating! so fun. i went with kit, cassie, shu hui, jeremy and nat fernando. fun fun fun! i had so much fun. i'm getting better at ice skating. though i rammed into this girl once (i'm choosing to totally ignore that fact), i didnt fall down at all. lol.
after that we went to suntec's subway where i had a foot long! so yummy. and then i had yami yoghurt. fantastic. after that, we went to pacific cafe (where their motto is, 'the perfect cup'. stupid.) and chatted the aft away.
great day it was.

sherman is in my school! yes the idiot from hscs is here. he's besmirching my uniform!
lol. he's even running for council. i'm not voting for him by the way.
hope he loses. (by a landslide at that).
school's been fine so far. same ol' same ol' kinda thing. going to dine indian with cassie and kit on thursday and on friday, i'm going ice skating. yay! sat, i'm watching the passion with my friends church group and kit. (apparently we can get in even though we're still 17).
i've been neglecting daph lately. she asked me out once to hang but i turned her down cos i was busy and stuff. i felt so bad that i even dreamt that i forgot her birthday and i was never forgiven. it was horrible. lol.
but seriously, i miss her and the old lot.
a letter came some time ago informimg me that i had to go for a check up for the army and all. heh. should be interesting no? i was told that other than stripping you down, they also give you IQ tests and stuff. then they grade you accordingly. hope i get into like that mediocre band. dont want my army life to be tough. wanna quickly do it and get it over with.
napfa test also coming up soon in may. hope i get a silver. i dont want gold, else they'll put me in the commandos (a bunch of elite testosterone filled men! ergh!).
like i said, i rather a simple and easy army life.
let's hope i get it.
