hey yo hey yo!
its little ol me again. no not recruit little ol me; now i'm a private.
yup yup, you got that right. its private kishan to you, you little piece of shit.
the passing out parade was very fun and bittersweet. my mother, sister and bro arrived late, as expected.
typical indians.
and because of that they missed me doing drills during the pre-parade segment! can you believe that? can you, can you!?
ergh and we were good! we came in second for goodness sakes! people actually clapped.
moving on...
the parade when on fine and dandy and all that. no one from my company fainted despite the horribly long speech the stupid guest of honour had to give while we were standing under the blazing hot sun in the parade square.
talk about tact.
after all the formalities we got to throw our caps up in the air and all that. we took photos and did everything you would expect army men to do the day they graduate from bmt. it was memorable. i cant believe that we'll all be splitting apart come the 21st. its just sad. but its difficult to be sad when youre happy; hence, the bittersweet thing.
i'm dedicating the whole of tomorrow to my future i.e. university shit and all that jazz. i'm definitely gonna apply for some scholarships and hope that i get em. got my eye on one teaching scholarship by the moe. might also be applying for the nus one as well. hope i get at least one back with a positive reply.
i cant wait to start studying again.
but for now i'm just gonna focus on spending my block leave wisely.
