Pop in a Quarter, Knock Yourself Out

Breathe in, Read, Breathe out.

February 20, 2005

as i was taking the train back home earlier today from pasir ris, i was, frankly, shocked to see the shrubs and short tree-like things that stretch over the pasir ris-tampines connecter burning up in flames and basically vapourising into thick grey smoke that clouded the nearby apartments resulting to something very close to a p.s.i. 900.

like i said it was shocking.

sure the weather has been horrible. the temperature has been going up, up and up and well bushfires have been increasing in frequency here in cosy somfy singapore. but still that incident was like a huge wake up call. hearing about a bushfire and actually seeing one is totally different i tell you, especially one of that magnitude (the library side of tampines was totally blanketed with smoke i tell ya).

the earth is freaking degenerating. i really hope the kyoto convention will help sort this out; at least i hope the participating countries can some to an agreement or something to help the world. its just scary to see this happen.

anyways....

read 5 people you meet in heaven (good book) and lord of the flies (psychologically disturbing). lol. i read more in the army than i do at home or in school man.

had fish and co with sis and bro this evening for dinner. man oh man, i so needed that. also went to watch hide and seek on impulse. the show started out okay, but you can actually guess the whole story by the time youre halfway through. and the ending, kinda stupid.

now i'm just waiting for spongebob the squarepants movie and white noise.

nothing much else to blog on... life's just doing its run and well, i'm running along with it.
