Pop in a Quarter, Knock Yourself Out

Breathe in, Read, Breathe out.

March 29, 2004

i had a really busy saturday.
first, the j1's interact club orientation was held from 8 till close to eleven.
it was so much fun! the games all went fine and the wet game at the end was fantastic. might repeat that for the june camp. the j1s i spoke to said that they enjoyed themselves and well, that's all i wanted to hear. hope that they'll stay (though i wished we had about 20+ more people).
then i rushed home and met kit at about 1pm to go to telok kurau sec for an interact meeting. seesh. it was sooooo warm at the god forsaken school! i went dizzy with the heat!
thank god we left early (at about 330pm) and we made our way to the indoor stadium for danceworks.
danceworks, hosted by dan ong and jean danker, (from where i was sitting though, they were the size of my thumbs) was extremely enjoyable. even though we had sitting seats, as opposed to the standing mosh-pit types, i was bobbing up and down my chair with kit to the music and the spectacular dances by the various schools.
my excitement was escalated further by the arrival of shinder and ilyana. lol. it was a blast. when tpjc was on, we all stood up and cheered like crazy! even hai sing performed! both were good but didnt win anything. but to make it this far in the competition was good enough i suppose.
kit and i left bfr the dance floor opened cos we were damn hungry and it was getting late. we (accidentally) went to subway, grabbed 6''s and went home.
i was beat.
still, i managed to do some bio bfr falling asleep on the damn tutorial. lol. (i know i know, nerd).
busy saturday huh?

jeremy and i made fun of eternal flame today. we changed the lyrics totally to smt damn dumb:

sing to the song:

shut your lids
hand me your wrist baby
do you feel my chest pulsating
do you comprehend
do you feel similar
or is this just a reverie
is this combusting a perpetual fire.

i know i know. it must sound damn lame now. but it was extremely hilarious when we first thought of it.
heh.
well what can i say, our humour is an acquired taste.
